“To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” ~~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

First day of 2nd grade
Is today.
She's there, shooed me right out of the classroom.
So darn independent.
I love her.
Hope you're having a fantastic first day of school, honey!
I'm an almost 30ish mother of one. I'd rather read good books than watch television. I don't color my hair, and I really dislike coffee. I'm still scared of E.T. and I LOVE roller coasters. I desperately want to learn how to knit, and being late to anything makes me completely freak out.
