Words to live by...

“To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
~~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

An Office Assistant for the day

This year, we ended up with a couple days between the last day of school and the first day of summer camps. Luckily my parents took Juliet for the day yesterday, but today she's stuck with me at the office. I just took this picture... there is a very good chance that later in the day we'll look decidedly less content with each other.

At the moment she's happily trying to figure out a computer game on the computer next to me. We also have a jewelry making kit, scrapbook supplies, 4 puzzles, a movie, 3 Zhu Zhu pets, Math activity books, Littlest Pet Shop house/pets, 1 large water filled glitter ball, snacks and a large assortment of markers/crayons/stamps/stickers. These supplies should buy me about a solid hour of productive work time!
